Marble Floor Polishing
What stone and marble floors can FABRICLEAN polish?
All varieties of marble floors can be polished. Black marble and similar dark shades are the most difficult to restore.
Terrazzo floors which are commonly found in public buildings are incredibly durable and can be honed or polished.
Other natural stones Limestone, Granite, Quartz, Travertine and even concrete floors can be polished. An inspection here is usually required to confirm the ability to bring a shine to your floor.
Marble honing v polishing
Usually clients just require their floors to look shiny and have the scratches removed. However it is important to understand the difference between marble grinding, honing and polishing.
The grinding process removes the deep scratches from the tile. Honing will remove surface scratches and leave the tile looking dull and flat. The polishing process will restore the life and shine to the marble making it look like new once again.
